Mihai Iosif, what it takes to be a football coach

Motivation. It is the key word that gravitates around every successful football club. Others are just, at most, complementary things. Now, the subject, to be clear from the beginning, is Mihai Iosif. A football coach about which Europe heard so little, but whom put a lot of work in re-birthing Rapid Bucharest. I know, this word might sound a bit like bad English, but I really don’t care. Rapid Bucharest, after years of struggle, was brought in Liga 1 by this man. A guy without the needed degrees, requested by the poor Romanian Football Federation, a community led by disgraces all around. Still, he manage to raise the team from ash and even though the results starting September 2021 were not necessary the best, he still remains the best option for the club.

Mihai Iosif, best motivator

He is cheap – the main criteria in Romanian football, if for free, even better – and what is really the key: he has burgundy, dark red, blood. He doesn’t have  diplomas, but he knows perfectly how to motivate a football player. Starting guys playing at under 15 or in the fifth league of Romanian football and going to Cristian Sapunaru, one of the greatest Romanian football players after 2000’s. No joke, this guy knows how to motivate. The so call tactics in World football are a joke. The game is getting worse and whom talks about tactics, strategy, I suspect he hit his head quite hard. There is no such thing. While writing this, I am watching PSG – Real Madrid. What should have been a football regal looks like a total disgrace, I feel like in front of my eyes I have Academica Clinceni against Chindia Targoviste.

Saw him in the fifth tier? No? Then shut up!

Anyway, people, more and more, are saying that Mihai Iosif should be replaced and the names mentioned are at least hilarious. Let me tell you something that nobody wants to admit, let alone tell: Romanian football does not have any football coach that counts in real football. Well, actually what supposed to be real football some years ago. Mihai Iosif might not perform in a different country, maybe not at another team, but for the 2021-2022 season he’s the perfect match for Rapid Bucharestm, regardless the outcome. It would have not been for Mita, Rapid wasn’t going to play in the top flight for sure. I don’t need anybody to proof this wrong to me, because I know the guy since he trained AFC Rapid Bucharest in the fifth tier. So, if you didn’t see him perform there, please shut up.
