UEFA Champions League Final 2022: pure disgrace

I have written here a preview of the UEFA Champions League final 2022 which, coincidently, was played on Stade de France, a stadium on which I took part at a different sporting event only one month before. I am watching football less and less, because the quality of this sport doesn’t deserve my attention, but since in the big game we would be able to see the podium of the Golden Ball 2022, most likely in the same order – Benzema, Mane and Salah – I have figured out that some beer and organic potato chips might mend in a quality night. I was so wrong… I mean, the evening was nice and all, but the game was under the basic expectations.

Real Madrid won the UEFA Champions League final without having a chance

Real Madrid didn’t play almost anything, Mane and Salah were practically invisible – so was Benzema, by the way – and the only goal was a failed attempt of Valverde to shoot on target and became, instead a hilarious assist for Vinicius whom made it 1-0, score that decided the UEFA Champions League final 2022. I would say that Liverpool was better, because it was. But in that game, to be on top of Real Madrid you could do that even if your name was CFR Cluj. If you consider shoots on the middle of the post, then, yes… they were better. Real Madrid didn’t play sh*t, but, in the end, they are clamming their false pedigree…

Sane will obey what Senegalese people say!

These being said, I think this might be the last UEFA Champions League final I would ever watch at least for a while. You can watch instead of seeing these “giants” struggling a Mister Bean comedy or literally anything else. After this, Mane announced that he will leave Liverpool because the Senegalese want him to. I mean this is exactly the estate in the world football at the moment. I mean a guy that earns 6 million euros / year and plays nothing in a final of this caliber claims he will do as per the will of some people that might not earn 600 euros / year. Is he fulling around or is his IQ…? Well, dunno, but I prefer to leave football aside more and more.
