Cristiano Ronaldo interview by Piers Morgan, explained – the ultimate joke

In the last week, the World Cup in Qatar took the second place, because the interview with Cristiano Ronaldo, held by Piers Morgan, covered the so-called football world almost entirely. Because it was such a one-of-a-kind event I have decided, on one of my runs, to listen to the whole 90 minutes and draw my own conclusions. Unfortunately, the interview is not really explosive, in fact is far lighter than I was expecting, considering the way in which it generated highlights and waves of “shocking” titles. Therefore, I will present you the real conclusions – not only mine, because Cristiano Ronaldo is not a cryptic guy, he speaks of his thoughts in a very poor English.

  1. He said things that 90% think but don’t speak. About Ten Haag, that he doesn’t respect him – how could he, if he doesn’t play? About Rangnick that isn’t a real coach and that is also true, since he came a board at Manchester United without being employed as top coach for two years. About Gary Neville and Wayne Rooney, in an aggressive way, because they were the ones taking bad about him. Cristiano Ronaldo spoke good about Messi, Ferdinand or Keane, because they didn’t spoke bad about him – the real shocker was if Ronaldo would have spoken bad about these, not the other way around
  2. Cristiano Ronaldo fired afterwards his guns on the Manchester United board, because, allegedly, the club never progress from 2009 in terms of facilities, and that the heads don’t respect him and treat him right. This might be also true, but it is something without any value, since Cristiano Ronaldo presented it only now, at the shelter of a World Cup and in the hope, he will be released by Manchester United for the first 2023 transfer window, as you can imagine he won’t be playing anymore for the Devils
  3. The most important thing that I’ve learned and didn’t see anybody discuss about is the young generation from Manchester United, about which Cristiano Ronaldo doesn’t think will make it too far. From my perspective this is the most sensitive and to track topic, and in some ways, it really links to my impression that football is not on the right track at all, but on the contrary. Is he right? Well, I don’t see why he would lie here. In fact, speaking this, should help the young to improve and to try and understand why they are not on the correct track. Inf act, in terms of longevity, nobody can challenge Ronaldo and he really can give advice here

The perfect exit from Manchester United Cristiano Ronaldo was looking for

The two topics below provoked 90% from the chain reactions of an unbelievable interview that never happened. Any person with a brain realizes that this was perfectly prepared, and that Cristiano Ronaldo used it as an escape from a club that put him in the corner this season. Now… the part that he had a lot of offers and he didn’t want to leave is, pardon my English, bullshit. I am pretty confident that no big club in Europe wanted Cristiano Ronaldo, so this is the only reason for which he stayed at Manchester United. See? He cannot be truthful in the end when it is about him, could he? 🙂 If Cristiano Ronaldo wanted to speak bad about Rangnick, Ten Haag, Manchester United facility had all the time in the world by now, but he chooses a convenient exit.

Will the next step still be big? Don’t think so…

Will this help him? For sure! I don’t see anything wrong in what he did, of course, if we don’t take in consideration that the world in which we live forbids you more and more to speak your thoughts out. When you do that, even though it is something pretty innocent, everything becomes huge, just because we are talking about a guy with 500 million followers on Instagram. Ruined his legacy? Is it the same type of joke like the one mentioned by Ronaldo, that he had tons of offers. C’mon… hope you are not braindead. Cristiano Ronaldo built already his legacy and that is that. The only question is if he can get a last final huge move. I quite doubt, but at nearly 38 yo this is, anyway, only a bonus. The fine, the termination of his contract? Just imagine how much money did this interview generated, so for Cristiano Ronaldo to be concerned about these!

And below the two parts of the interview, so just for you to assess yourselves the words I have drawn above. OK, the English of CR7 is rubbish – I don’t know how it can be that poor after 7 years and a half at Manchester United, but…
