For me, enjoying Budapest means also running. A lot! Once, I’ve decided to try running more than two times a day. It was fun! The overall distance wasn’t outstanding, slightly over 30 kilometers, but still the experience gave a slice of adrenaline. First, at 06:30 I went with the AR team for a nice and steady up hill + stairs run, as Csabi always took care of this part. I’ve added some kilometers afterwards and already started the day at around 10.8 K.
Nice and steady pace
Normally, in these days, I was going anyway for an evening run, because the time frame would have become huge by next day. It seems like a joke, but for me it isn’t. Especially in this pandemic period. So, in the lunch break I gave a second shot. 11.7 K this time. As I forgot to mention, it is the last day of September 2020, 30th. The pace was slightly over 5:30 / kilometer which is, of course, quite slow. But for me, it matter the less. Just tried the experience. Considering it was a normal working day, could not tell it was easy.
34 kilometers
Still, I went for the third and final run of the day. Almost same distance, same pace, 11.5 K. In the evening, of course. A total of 34 kilometers in that day. Was it hard? Not very, but my legs felt it! Did it worth it? Absolutely! Like eating three times a day, running three times a day can be good for you. If I will do it once again in the future? Probably yes! Yet, don’t know when, not planning to retake the session soon, but I will keep it in the archives. Below, the proof. Loved it!
